The war of aggression two and a half years later.

What the people in the know assured the world would be a very short war, lasting a couple of days and maximum a week given the vast and overwhelming superiority of the means at the disposal of the so-called world power Russia, is now entering its 30 month of total war.

So much for the presumed knowledge of the self declared specialists in the field of war and peace. Fact is that the heroic Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian soldiers give proof of courage, bravery and resilience as never before seen in Europe. The result of this resilience is that what’s at stake now is far different from what was initially at stake on February 22nd 2202. Back then it was the survival of the Ukrainian state and the freedom of the people of the Ukraine to move their nation into the orbit of the European Union.

Now some 30 months later the table has turned and what is fast becoming self-evident for everyone, not biased and with an open mind, is that the survival of the Russian state as we’ve known it for the last 500 years is at stake today for, as a matter of facts, Russia has already thoroughly and completely lost its brutal cruel imperial and totally unwarranted war of aggression against the the people and nation of the Ukraine.

The stark reality is that Russia, the state and the Russian people simply have no way to cope with this complete military defeat and this total humiliation of mighty Russia in the eyes of the whole world. What are Turkey, Communist China and born again Persia going to make of this total collapse of the military forces of once mighty Russia? Will they see an opportunity to finally right some wrongs imposed on them by once mighty Russia, the superpower of the last century? What has Russia achieved so far in this atrocious war? Ukrainian nationalism is now very much stronger, its language and culture more alive than ever before and the desire of the Ukrainian people to join the EU and NATO has never been stronger.

NATO was born again, stronger than ever with Sweden and Finland as new members and the Baltic Sea transformed into a ‘NATO-lake’. Defence spending finally reached the magic 2% needed to defend the West. The nations and the peoples of the EU are coming very fast closer in every meaningful way than ever before thought possible.

Estonia of all nations will represent the EU on the world stage, something totally unthinkable a mere 30 months ago. The massive losses suffered by the armed forces of mighty imperial Russia surpassing anything thought possible in the wildest dreams of those of us in the West who do cherish our values, our freedom, our liberty, our way of life.

Conclusion: it is safe to state publicly and facts based that it is game over for the murderous criminal Russian state no matter how long Russia wants to protract this agony.
