THE TIME HAS COME.

It is now or never for the urgently needed transformation of the EU into the United States of Europe

WHY?

The very high quality of life we Europeans – especially in the western part of the EU – are used to and have been taking for granted over so many decades is not self-evident. Far too many Europeans – again especially in the western lands of the EU – have apparently no deep knowledge at all of the tragic history of Europe in the sometimes horrible 20th century and seem for all practical purposes to have lost all sense of historic reality. The only reason Europeans – especially in the nations west to the lands of the Elbe – live such socially and culturally rich peaceful and fulfilling lives is because someone looks over our shoulders to keep an eye on the dangerous forces of the dark that may one day very well decide to come after us. The only reason we Europeans enjoy peace and prosperity and live our lives in peace and in harmony is the US-taxpayer. Without the US-taxpayers no NATO and no military strong USA to protect the Europeans from the evils of Communism, be it Chinese today or Soviet yesteryears.

Alas the world is becoming more dangerous every year and the threats the USA has to cope with become so manyfold that the USA cannot on its own and at its own expense continue to protect the EU forever against whatever harm might come Europe’s way. The USA is in danger of “overstretch” trying to keep several threats at bay these days, i.e. (i) the systemic rival Communist China that also threatens to go to war over Taiwan, (ii) Russia and the imperialist czar Putin, a tsar at war in Europe over Kiev-Rus and (iii) Shia Persia, a heretic Muslim kakistocracy attacking the USA and the West by way of numerous proxies and militias all over the so-called Middle East in Lebanon, Israel, Syria, Iraq, Yemen. Never to forget the “Rocket-man” Kim of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea …

The USA has not not only to stand up to all these foreign threats happening at one and the same moment but is also confronted by a number of major internal problems that are without any doubt to be considered huge.

Poverty, illiteracy and homelessness are rather widespread in some places in the USA. Illegal drugs, alcohol, guns & ammo, mass-shootings, suicides and car-fatalities are so common as to become rather serious plagues killing many thousands and thousands of US-citizens every year. Although the USA is definitely not in decline, it is now confronted with so many challenges and issues that require its unlimited attention and untold billions – even trillions – of dollars that Europeans cannot continue our unencumbered beauty-sleep at the expense of the US-taxpayer. It is about time for us Europeans to show that we have grown up and that we can share the burden the US-taxpayer is still carrying for us.

Europeans should urgently create a well funded united European military pillar equal to the American pillar under the roof of NATO. That is why it is now time to transform the Eu into a real democratic federal UNITED STATES OF EUROPE to the image and in perfect harmony with the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA without which Europe, our European Civilisation and Culture would have ceased to exist ages ago. Without the USA saving us in 1917, 1944, during the Cold War and now again there would be no more any Europe to speak of.

Learning from the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA means learning how to survive as a truly democratic society and nation at peace and living in prosperity amid a bad and dangerous world full intent on destroying the freedom and lives of the “Everyman” in a successful western civilization.

The only way to achieve this lofty goal of protecting our civilization for the generations to come is to copy the truly democratic and federal institutional structure of the USA. What works for the USA, what has enabled the USA to become the leading light of the world will also work for us, Europeans. One executive President elected by the peoples of Europe, one House representing all the citizens of the EU/USE, One Senate representing all the nation-states members of the EU/USE and one Supreme Court to oversee all the rightful and lawful democratic workings of the institutions of the EU/USE!

There is only one way forward for the EU and that is going the “American Way”, the proven rock-solid road to ever-lasting peace and prosperity and human progress. Following in the steps of Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Reagan is the only way forward and the only way to protect our common European heritage.

May we, Europeans, find the courage and strength to follow in the steps of the USA. Learning from the USA means standing up for our truly democratic federal UNITED STATES OF EUROPA as of today.
